That book's going on my Christmas list!
On the same website, did you see the article about the explorer who took a hen with him for companionship? I don't think my girls would be that brave; they expect me to carry them if it snows!

No I missed that but I'll have a look ? yeah not sure my girls would be happy with that either... Maybe for the first 10 mins but then it would be "novelty has worn off now, I've got to go and do some exploring of my own... Those worms won't eat themselves" ??

My girls don't mind wet and mud... And would you believe it the ones who enjoy it the most are the ones with the most feathers on their feet!! Like kids! ??
