Im now going to pen my turkeys in to prevent them from mixing with my chickens, they are still in the stable at the moment, as iv already got blackhead, got meds from vets an am in the prosses of worming the chickens. Iv got an 8ftX8ft shed which i hope is going to be big enough for 9 wriall blacks. Any tips for alterations to acomidate turkeys? I was looking at building a pen 10.8mtr long by 7.2mtrs giving 77.7mts square giving each turkey 8.63M2 each. Do you think thats too big, as i spoke to someone today an they said dont let them roam too much as it makes the meat tough. I never knew that. I wanted them as freerange as possiable.
